I'm a freelance 2D character/concept artist based around Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK. I'm incredibly proud to say my latest work was on Disney's Illusion Island and it's DLC with Dlala Studios. I love fantasy, tea, a good Dungeons and Dragons session and cozy vibes!
I began my career as a character animator for a start up games company based in Newcastle. After a long break, I moved into freelance where I worked on animations with names such as Arcus Animation, BBC Bitesize, BBC Arts New Creatives, Siyona Tech, Playmob and Grads Into Games. I loved animation but missed drawing and design so when the opportunity came, I took it! I moved into 2D character design and concept art which I still currently work in!
Last year I started looking at volunteering and mentoring opportunities to help people into the creative industry. I wanted to give back to the industry that gave me opportunities and coming from a working class background myself, I know how hard it can be to break in! So far I have volunteered as an Art Judge with IntoGames IG50 2024 and mentored artists with The Game Dev Group.
